South Sound Dance believes that dance is for everyone!
Our talented and creative instructors provide a loving and nurturing environment, while challenging each student to reach their fullest potential!
With recreational and pre-professional dance classes for kids and adults, we hope to provide the best dance education and experience to each dancer whether that dancer is at our dance studio for fun, exercise, or professional training.

Our Philosophy
Educate
South Sound Dance provides the Olympia and Tumwater area quality dance education to recreational, pre-professional, and adult students in a variety of dance and movement forms such as ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip hop, and acrobatics. We believe every dancer should have access to the technical skills necessary to build a strong dance foundation. Whether learning dance vocabulary through song and rhyme or picking it out of a life size crossword, dance is a fun and rewarding educational experience for every student at South Sound Dance!

In an ever more digital world, dance is a real human experience. At South Sound Dance we promote expression, communication, health, growth, and individual success, in a positive and professional environment. With our loving and dedicated staff, we teach our students to embrace self expression among each other and encourage even our tiniest dancers to interact and relate to one another to create more intelligent, empathetic, and social individuals.
