SSD is moving from our home of the last 12 years into our brand-new facility on Capitol Boulevard.
Classes have not moved to the new building just yet, but you may already notice our address and phone number beginning to change.

Twelve students.
Our CEO, Miss Hannah, started South Sound Dance with a toddler, one big room, and a big dream to create a dance studio where children, teens and adults can feel like they belong AND get quality dance education in all styles.

Five teachers.
150 Students.
As more families joined our community, we added a wall to add a seperate lobby space, expanded into a second classroom (our Studio B) and added a few more teachers to help make the magic happen!

You know what happened this year.
We were preparing to begin the search for our forever home...
...and then the world shut down. We were teaching ballet in living rooms and tap in kitchens over Zoom.
Like so many small businesses, our expansion plans had to be put on hold for a little while!

Three studios.
10+ teachers
300+ students.
We added our third classroom, expanded our programs and so many new families joined SSD!
We grew a team of dedicated staff members, and watched the studio blossom again after the pandemic!

New Space. Same Joy.
Our new space will allow us to serve our current families even better, expand our programming, add new classes, and reach even more of our community.
While our address is changing, the things that matter most never will. The same welcoming community, the same commitment to a joyful experience and quality education, and the same mission as we started with!
